How to Unzip files online for free

on Saturday, January 4, 2014

Unzipping a file is not at all a problem, since we have immaculate softwares to take special care of the extraction like WinZip and WinRAR etc to assist us in the process.

But what if your computer does not have these softwares and you are incapable of installing them due to your restricted environment or by policies imposed by the administrator.

Another scenario can be that the file might be in the internet and you are unable to download it due to some reason.

This is where Unzip Online comes to help.  A neat and tidy website which does not require any assistance for the user to do his job.

You can select upto 10 files and there is a size cap of 200 MB.  The archives will be stored at their website for one hour after the unzip.

Various input file types supported by the website are 7z, bar, bz2, bzip2, gz, gzip, jar, rar, tar, tbz, tgz, war, xz, z, zar and zip.

After selecting the file, the upload queue button is to be pressed.  The unzipping takes place almost immediately.  However, based on the file size and the speed of your internet connection, time can vary.
