It often happens to me at office that I want to print out something immediately and I am faced with this undeletable print job just infront of my present job.  Neither will it get cancelled, nor it allows me to print pages which I want.  So how to get rid of this annoying little thing?

After some research, I have found a way by which we can delete the so called undeletable print jobs.

Only thing you require would be that you should be logged in as the Administrator.  It works on Windows XP, Windows 7 and few Windows server versions.

Now lets see how to do it.

Open up notepad by typing "notepad" (without quotes) in the search menu and by pressing enter key.

Now copy the following lines of codes as it is and paste it on to the notepad.

@echo off
net stop spooler
del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.shd
del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.spl
net start spooler

Save the file with any name and with an extension of ".bat".  While saving the notepad, you will have to select "All files(*.*)" from the drop down menu and then type any name' say "PrintQueueDelete.bat" without quotes.

Please note that running this file will erase not only the undeletable print job, but also all other print jobs assigned to other printers too.
