Foxit Reader is a free PDF reader and it is very popular for its speed and other capabilities.  I love its performance when compared to Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Apart from that, it is really light weight when compared to other readers.  Undoubtedly, its the best PDF reader available today.

Only little thing bad I noticed about the reader was the advertisement shown in the right hand top corner.  If you don't like them there is a way to remove them.

How to Download Flash Games from Websites

There are numerous sites in the internet which provides flash games to play.  The only disadvantage is that everytime you feel like playing your favourite flash game, you will have to connect to the internet and log in to the site and start playing.

What if we could download the flash games and save them in our computer so that we can play them over and again without requiring an internet access.

I have been checking this method for some time.  It works for most of the sites except for some flash files.

You will have to have Mozilla Firefox installed on your computer.


Log in to the flash site and select the game to play.  Remember, you will have to wait till the game is loaded.

You were watching a lengthy YouTube video and you had to leave your computer for some reason or had to disconnect before you finish viewing the video.  The next time you log in, you can start viewing the video from just where you had left it by adding #t=AAmBBs (where AA is the minutes and BB is the seconds).

10 ways to save your Laptop battery life

1.   Adjust Power Settings.  Power settings can be adjusted so that your laptop consumes less power.  The settings can be accessed by typing "powercfg.cpl" (without quotes) in the Run Dialog box.

2.   Adjust Brightness.   Brightness of the screen can be decreased so that less energy is consumed by the LCD.

3.   Disable unwanted services.  Unwanted services, for example, Bluetooth, WiFi should be kept disabled.
