Folder Lock is a very famous software used for locking your private folders so that no body can view it. It encrypts the files and folders using user's password. When I say "Hack Folder Lock Password", let me be clear that I dont want you to break into folders locked by others. I just want to help users who forget their passwords.
The first thing to do is to open Registry Editor by typing "regedit" (without quotes) in the Run dialog box.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\QualityControl
Ignore the ~ sign. Suppose your value is "sfmqfl~ ~ ~ ", ignore the ~ sign and take the remaining letters or alphabets.
Write them down in reverse order. In our example, it becomes "lfqmfs". Now start decrypting by writing the alphabet or digit which comes before the given letter or digit.
In our case the letter before l is k, the letter before f is e, the letter before q is p and thereon. So our password becomes "kepler". The same is the case with digits too. Substitute 1 for 2, 2 for 3 and so on.
Remember a space becomes "!". If a special character is used, find out the ASCII number of the special character and replace it with the special character with ASCII number one less than the encrypted one.
Please use caution while carrying out these steps. If you are not familiar with registry, always be sure to back up registry before doing a registry edit. This is written for those who forget their passwords. So, I shall not be liable if you get into some legal issues trying to hack someone else's folders.
