Copy Windows Error Messages

on Sunday, January 31, 2010

We all must have come across error messages generated by Windows Operating System.  To copy the error message, most of us would use the combination of "Prt Scr" key and MSPaint.

There is another simple method to copy the error messages.  Just press Ctrl + C (the same copy) when the error message appears and you can paste the message to Notepad, WordPad, or a document file.

This trick only works with errors.  So, if you want to try this out and if you dont have an error message now, try typing "abcdef" in the Run Dialog box and hit enter.   Now when the error comes up, copy it with Ctrl + C.  Cool, isn't it?
