Burn ISO files in Windows XP and Vista

on Wednesday, January 13, 2010

ISO file is an image of an optical disc.  It contains all information like boot code, structure and attributes of the original disc.

Burning ISO files require a software support in Windows XP and Vista.  The popular software Nero does it beautifully, but with a cost added to it.  Nero is not a free software; moreover it is not light-weight.  Though there are many softwares available for burning ISO files, most of them are trial-versions and require you to pay for the full version.

ISO Recorder is a very useful software written by Alex Feinman and is free and light-weight as well.
