I shall tell you the method to earn those things...
1. You will have to get invited to join Lockerz. Though they also have an option for sending in invitation directly from their site; they have not still activated it.
2. You get 2 Lockerz Points (PTZ) on logging in daily in their site.
3. There will be daily questions which are very simple. Most of them does not have a right or wrong answer. You get PTZ for that too...
3. Invite friends... On every friend of yours, accepting your invitation will fetch you 2 PTZ. Once you have 20 of your friends joined the site, you will be in the Z list, which means you ll double every points you get. For example, you ll get 4 PTZ on logging in once you get in to the Z list. Once you reach the Z list, you ll get a free Tshirt too...
The company is legal, having trademark for the brand.
If you need Lockerz invitation, you can send a request to keplermanuel@in.com. I shall send it as soon as I receive your request.

Whenever there is an improper shutdown, the Windows OS is designed is such a way that it starts the Scandisk utility at startup.
Well; sometimes we are not sure whats going on, or what was the reason for an improper shutdown. Then I advise you to continue with the procedure and let Scandisk scan your harddisk.
But when you know the reason for improper shutdown or you have restarted the computer yourself; the scandisk becomes a little inconvenient (We all have lost our patience!!! SpaceAge!!)
Coming back to the topic.. You can disable the scandisk utility being run after an improper shutdown through Registry Editor or the Regedit.

Its indeed annoying to see the low Hard disk space popping up every now and then; especially when you have already decided to buy a new hard disk...
This can be achieved by two registry key manipulations...
(a) The first one :HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
In here create a DWORD and name it as "NoLowDiskSpaceChecks" (without quotes) and give it a value 1
(b) The second one : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Again create a DWORD and name it as "NoLowDiskSpaceChecks" (without quotes) and give it a value 1
Enjoy till you buy a new Hard disk....

There is a way to hide your user account from the Welcome screen. It is nothing but a small registry hack...
Open Regedit and go to the following location
HKEY\LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
Create a DWORD and give it the name of the account you want to be hidden.
If you give the DWORD a value of 0, then its hidden; if you give it a value of 1, its visible.

To control the files that Windows load automatically on startup, the System Configuration Utility can be used. This utility can be accessed by typing "msconfig" (without quotes) in the Run box and clicking OK.
Select the Startup tab and you'll find entries of the files that Windows load on startup.
You can enable or disable the files by selecting or deselecting the boxes infront of the files.
Another location you could refer is obviously the registry....
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Shared Tools/MSConfig/startupreg

Let me tell you a very different way to hide your folders...
The ordinary way is to set the folder's Hidden tribute. But how about changing your folder to Control Panel and back with a single click???
Suppose you have a folder named GoodFolder and you want to hide it.
1. Open notepad and type the following
ren GoodFolder GoodFolder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
2. Save the file as a lock.bat file (In the SaveAs form change the Save as type to All Files).
3. Paste the lock.bat file to the same Folder or Directory where the GoodFolder is.
4. Double click lock.bat and notice the icon of GoodFolder changing to the Control Panel's icon. Now if you try to open GoodFolder; all you get is the Control Panel.
5. Now to unlock the folder, open notepad and type the following:-
ren GoodFolder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} GoodFolder

You have numerous times selected the Show Hidden Files from the Tools -> Folder Options -> View. But you see no changes taking place.... When you reopen the Folder Options, you are surprised to see that the Do not Show Hidden Files have been shown as the checked value!!!
This may be because of certain viruses...
To overcome this problem, there is something which we can do via Registry Editor or the Regedit.
1. Open Regedit and go to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL
2. Change the value of the key named CheckedValue from 1 to 2.
Restart the computer and you ll get to see all the hidden files....
Try scanning your PC with an Antivirus (obviously an updated one!)..

Windows Antivirus Pro is a fake one and can trick people into paying them a lot of hard-earned money. I thought of writing this blog because one of my friend's computer also have been infected by it.
The process of Windows Antivirus Pro is as follows :-
It displays a message that your system is infected with viruses and malwares and inorder to delete them you may download Windows Antivirus Pro. The moment you accept their invitation, you have invited trouble... It keeps on annoying you by slowing down your system and by flashing the message to pay them so that they can help you to clean your system.. All's fake that starts fake....
Though it may be possible to remove the Windows Antivirus Pro manually, you may not be able to fully remove the associated files; thereby resulting in its regeneration. The best method is to download a free version of Malwarebytes from http://malwarebytes.org/.
This program can remove the Windows Antivirus Pro from your computer and aaahh,,,, its free as well....
